Access Permit applications are processed via the MPRPD website from Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays, 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.

Applications are processed on a first in, first out basis. Permits will be issued a maximum of 30 days in advance of the requested permit date. It is recommended that applications be submitted at least 2 weekdays prior to the requested visit date. If you wish to attempt to make a "late" request for a weekend visit, you must call the on-duty weekend Ranger to make arrangements. To contact the on-duty weekend Ranger dial (831) 659-4488, then select option 2 to obtain the telephone number to call in order to reach or leave a message for the on-duty Ranger.

A response from the MPRPD will be emailed to you within 24 - 48 hours, or sooner, when possible.
