Carmel Valley Recreation and Park District, Carmel Valley Community Park and parking lot improvements - $4,950
Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History, Harbor Seal rookery view enhancements - $6,420
University Corporation at Monterey Bay (CSUMB), Return of the Natives restoration projects - $3,000
City of Pacific Grove, Save the (Lover's Point) Pool project - $40,000 Conditional
- Heritage Society of Pacific Grove, Pt. Pinos lighthouse restoration - $30,000 Conditional

The MPRPD Parks, Open Space and Coastal Preservation Grant program was established to assist local public agencies, community groups and nonprofit organizations with funding for improvements or significant repairs/replacements at neighborhood community park facilities and open space areas within the District boundaries. Funding for the program is from the Parks, Open Space and Coastal Preservation Assessment District, approved by residents in a 2004 ballot measure.
