The Fiscal Year 2011-12 Grant Application period has closed.

FY 2011-12 Grant Awardees:

  • City of Pacific Grove, Perkins Park Recreational Trail Improvements, $20,925
  • City of Seaside, Highland Otis Park Improvements, $35,000
  • MEarth, Mission Trails Improvement and Restoration Project, $6,000
  • Monterey Bay Sanctuary Foundation, Bay Net Volunteer Program, $7,788

The MPRPD Parks, Open Space and Coastal Preservation grant program was established to assist local public agencies and organizations with funding for improvements of community and neighborhood parks, open spaces and preservation of coastal areas.  Funding for the program is from the MPRPD Parks, Open Space and Coastal Preservation Assessment District revenues.

The FY 2012-13 grant period will open in August, 2012.  For more details, please refer to the guidelines and prior year application posted below.
