The Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District periodically solicits bids, proposals and statements of qualifications from qualified consultants and contractors to provide a variety of professional services. For a list of current projects, please reference the sections below.
REQUEST FOR BIDS (RFBs)
- Fencing Project
The District is inviting sealed bids for repair and/or replacement of approximately 14 miles of cattle fencing at Palo Corona Regional Park (PCRP).
Sealed bids are due by 2:00 pm,
(PST), Thursday, March 16, 2017 (PDT), Thursday, March 23, 2017. For more information, please see the attached PCRP Fencing RFB.
PLEASE NOTE: A mandatory pre-bid site inspection is required and will be held at 1:00 pm, (PST), Thursday, March 2, 2017. The mandatory site visit scheduled for March 2, 2017 is not required of contractors who attended the prior site visit of October 16, 2016. Bidders shall meet at the PCRP entrance as noted on the RFB.
– RFB Correction #1: Bidder’s Bond, page 10, Bid Opening date is March 16, 2017 NOT March 3, 2017.
– RFB Correction #2: Pagination has been corrected. The RFB cover page has been un-numbered. The Project Description is now numbered 1a and 1b. The bracing footnote on page 1a has been corrected to read: In-line bracing shall be at a minimum of every 600 feet. If soil conditions, like rock, are an impediment, in-line bracing can be adjusted to the nearest suitable substrate. In addition to all corners and line-angles, both vertical and horizontal, gate-posts and fence-ends, regardless of distance from the previous brace (corner or in-line), shall be braced.
– RFB Correction #3: Wire specifications, page 1a; Smooth wire: Bekaert High Tensile 12.5-Gauge Smooth Wire with Bezinal coating. Barbed-Wire: Bekaert Gaucho 15.5g High Strength Barbed Wire.
– RFB Correction #4: Sealed bids will be received at Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District office, 60 Garden Court, Suite 325, Monterey, California 93940, until 2:00 p.m. (PDT), on Thursday, March 23, 2017 for the Palo Corona Regional Park Fencing Project.
