ACCESS AND SPECIAL USE PERMITS
Before submitting an application for an access permit, you must agree to abide by the permit conditions. It is required that you read, understand, and accept all of the conditions that apply to the access permit. Click on Access Permit Conditions to view them. HOW TO APPLY On-Line The MPRPD has developed a web-based permit system that allows park users to apply for and receive access permits via the internet. While users may apply on-line at any time, District staff will process on-line permits on Monday through Friday, during office hours from 8:30 am to 5 pm. To apply for an access permit, go to the Access Permit Application page, fill out the requested information, and then click on the Submit button at the bottom of the form. It will be reviewed by staff and an access permit will be issued if permits are available for the date(s) requested. A return e-mail will forward the access permit, or provide an explanation if a permit is not issued. Please note that access permit applications will be processed on a first in, first served basis. Apply by Telephone or in Person For those without computer access, please call the District at 372-3196 ext. 5, on Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Your application may be taken over the phone, or you may request that an access permit application form be mailed to you. When leaving a message, be sure to leave your name, and indicate the park you want to visit, the requested date for the visit, and your phone number. Another option available is to call the permit line and request a date and time for an appointment at the MPRPD Office to fill out and submit the application form in person.
