California Wildlife Day!

May contain: person and human

California is a leader in environmental policy and conservation. Our state is filled with diverse and unique ecosystems, which is why California Wildlife Day! was formally established through legislation sponsored by Senator Bill Monning and passed in the California Senate in March 2017.

Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District, along with Carmel River Watershed Conservancy and other partners will celebrate California Wildlife Day, Saturday, March 23, from 10:00am to 3:00 pm at Palo Corona Regional Park.
